Brass eagle & swastikas nailed to top centre, with cut out brass type VII U-Boat, screwed to backing wooden panel, with U-306 impressed to conning tower with a brass plaque below, with engraving ‘Zur Erinnerung an den Slapellault 16. Sept. 1941 Flender Werke A.G. Lubeck. Built by Flenderwerft, Lubeck, Keel laid 16/09/1941, Launched 29/08/1942, Commissioned 21/10/1942 and Commanded by KL Claus von Trotha October 1942 – 31/10/1943.
