Post WW1 Australian H.M.A.S. Sydney ‘wood’ desk inkwell. Good condition, with a felt base, use/wear, ink stains etc. Measures 38.5cm wide. Weighs approx. 1500 grams. central Wood from the decommissioned ship was used to make these, being sold to the public to raise money for the building of the Australian War Memorial in the 1920’s.
