Description

WW1 era German Kingdom of Saxony spiked helmet enlisted Pickelhaube. Leather body in very good condition, with wartime grey painted steel Saxon 2 piece helmet plate with leather & steel buckle chinstrap, affixed to steel side posts, retaining state & 80% of national cockades. Front peak retains grey steel trim. Correct enlisted style removable spike with ventilator spine. Interior shows drawstring leather liner and period repaired leather tabs to helmet plate affixing area. Approx. size 56. A very well looked after original 1915 period original piece.
