WW2 German Waffen S.S. officer’s peaked cap. Good black leather peak, faded field grey wool crown, white piped and black velvet centre band, showing rub wear to badge area, with toned frosted metal eagle & Totenkopf badges. Silver bullion chin cords attached to the side silver buttons. Excellent ‘saddle’ shape to crown, with two moth nips. Interior retains sweat stained silk liner, showing Schellenberg maker marked celluloid diamond and service worn grey leather sweatband, which is DRGM #14.19.504. In very good ‘as worn’ condition. Approx. size 57.
