NEAR MINT WW2 AUSTRALIAN 303 RIFLE BAYONET SCABBARD SWORD ARMY 1945

Offered is a near mint condition 1945 dated Orange Arsenal made Second World War 1907 pattern bayonet with scabbard. Bayonet & scabbard features all blued steel fittings, with pommel (light pitting to points) & working release button, wooden grips stamped SLAZ 43 and metal guard. The 43 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and stamped XOA (Lithgow – Orange Arsenal), dated July 1945. The blade being factory sharpened only. Standard leather & metal Australian Orange Arsenal marked scabbard, with WW2 era mouth piece. Mangrovite 45 to leather body. Overall...
