WW2 KINGDOM OF YUGOSLAVIA ARMY MODEL 1924 MAUSER BAYONET, SCABBARD & FROG

Description

Offered is a 1924 pattern Yugoslavian Army bayonet with scabbard & leather frog, as used on the Steyr 7 mm M1912 Mauser rifles.

Features nickel & steel fittings, showing birds head pommel, with working release catch, with solid wooden grips & muzzle ring, being arsenal stamped 3128/H. The 38 cm long nickel plated steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and maker marked details BT3 (Vojno Tehnicki Zavod). Standard factory sharpened blade with light use and runner marks to blade. Standard protective blued finished metal scabbard, being matching numbered H3128 stamped & mid brown leather frog, retaining fastening strap. Overall length: 54cm long.
