POST WW2 RUSSIAN ARMY AK BAYONET & SCABBARD SWORD 1958 DATED IZHEVSK ARSENAL

Description

Offered is a late 1958 dated Russian Army AK-47 sidearm bayonet with scabbard.

Features blued steel fittings, showing ‘hooked’ head pommel, with working release catch, with bayonet slot, maker stamped for the Izhevsk Arsenal & screw in bakelite grips, with the blued metal guard, numbered ’11’ & dated 1958. The 20.3 cm long coated steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and retains the majority of the original coated protective finish. Standard factory sharpened blade with light use and runner marks as shown. Standard original blued metal scabbard, with only minor wear marks. Overall length: 32.3cm long.
