Description

Offered is a WW2 era Japanese Arisaka bayonet with scabbard.

Bayonet features age toned fittings overall, with well worn numbered stamped pommel with working external release button, screw in wooden grips and metal guard/quillon & muzzle ring. The 40 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to each side of the blade, with light use and wear, with blade being in generally very good condition overall. Ricasso stamped for HIKARI SEIKI SEISAKU JO Arsenal. Standard metal scabbard with a couple of minor service dents, but generally very good. Overall a very good bayonet, with a very fine condition blade. Please view all photos before bidding.
