WW1 GERMANY IRON CROSS & BREMEN HANSCEATIC CROSS MEDAL GROUP

Description

Offered is an original German WW1 soldiers/officer’s medal bar.

6.5cm wide bar with double wrapped ribbons, 1914 iron cross 2nd class 42 mm wide with dark patina frame and magnetic black centres, very conditioned as pictured, being maker marked W & S (J. Wagner & Sohn, Berlin). Bremen Hansceatic Cross, with a small enamel fracture to base of right hand army (not chipped). Ribbon base stained & worn, pin backed, showing good use. Nice set, the Bremen cross was limited in issue to 20,000.
