Description

Offered is a German Manufactured Brazil Contract 1908 pattern Brazilian Bayonet with scabbard, for the Brazilian 7mm Mauser Rifle and carbine 1908- 1934.

Bayonet features a steel pommel with working external release button, with 2 steel rivets in wooden grips and metal hooked quillion guard # b9895 & muzzle ring 7220, wood solid but one side has split to grip. The 30cm long steel blade shows B factory stamp to back edge ricasso, also small section of minor pitting above this area approx 1.5cm, single fullered blade with no signs of sharpening, good condition overall. Standard brass and leather scabbard in good condition, brass # 7220, small section of leather missing to back, stitching good. Quality German contract bayonet for the South American Theatre.
