1920’s era U.S. Marine Corps named officer’s ‘mameluke’ sword and scabbard.

German made Conqueror N S MEYER NC sword, number 202. Features composite orange faux ivory grip with brass star rivets and acorn tipped guard. Double etched 76cm long, slightly curved unsharpened stainless blade, showing USMC anchor and eagle World Shield with large “United States Marines” etched both sides, officers name “Howard P Done” to blade panel. Sword finished off nicely with correct black leather sword knot, fits well into the twin ringed nickel scabbard. An impressive display piece. Overall measures 92.4cm.
