WW1 WW2 GERMAN ARMY NON COMMISSIONED OFFICER’S SWORD, SCABBARD & KNOT
Offered is a WW2 era German Army Non-Commissioned Officer’s Sword with Scabbard. The sword is an 1889 Pattern Officer’s NCOs model, with nickel back-strap and doves-head pommel, with wire wrapped black celluloid grip, showing light use and patina overall. The single fullered slightly curved 84.5cm blade is in very fine condition, with very little if any noticeable wear. The blade shows no maker mark underneath the langet. The blade fits smoothly into the refinished service scabbard, retaining it’s fixed suspension ring. Sword finished off nicely with a NCO’s green leather and silver threaded sword knot in excellent condition.
