NAZI GERMANY TRANSITIONAL PERIOD CHAINED NSKK LEADER’S DAGGER AND SCABBARD BY F.W. HOLLER OF SOLINGEN

Offered is a rare transitional period Nazi Germany chained NSKK Leader's dagger with scabbard.

Dagger features wooden grip retains SA roundel, party eagle & swastika and is in good condition with no dents, with ony what looks like a period repaired chip, using the original wood section. Nickel plated crossguards are in very good condition with little to no loss of plating at all.

22cm blade is in very fine condition with most of the original cross graining still present.  The clean dark etched motto – Alles Fur Deutschland (All For Germany) is crisp and clear, with transitional era F.W. Holler of Solingen trademark & RZM marked M7/33 present. The fit between the handle, crossguard and scabbard is near perfect showing that the dagger has not been mismatched over the years. 

The chained scabbard features nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings and are in very good condition, as is the main body and retaining most of its black coating. The full length steel based, nickel-silver plated chain is also in excellent condition with the clasp working perfectly. The correct link is stamped “NSKK Korpsfuhrung Musterschutz” and “RZM M5/25” for Theodore Dicke, Lüdenscheid.

Overall an exceptional dagger, in near perfect condition, which would be difficult to find in a betetr condition anywhere. The limited numbers issued of the chained leaders' dagger make this a rare and highly sought after dagger in anyone's collection and the condition of this one would be hard to better.
