RARE WW2 JETTER & SCHEER WW2 GERMAN K98 BAYONET SCABBARD & 1938 LEATHER FROG

Description

Offered is a rare maker WW2 German K98 service bayonet, with scabbard & leather frog.

Very good dark brown composite grips, with steel pommel with double waffen stamps WaA155, with working bayonet attachment button. The scarce maker Jetter & Scheer J.Sch marked 25.5cm long, in fantastic condition, with unsharpened blade retains the majority of the original blued protective finish to blade, showing light wear to tip and in and out runner wear, date stamped 38 to blade rear. The metal scabbard is generally good, numbered 3177 clc (R Herder code) 1942. The leather frog is in very good condition, retaining its grip straps. Overall length 42cm. A very good condition piece.
