Offered is a full sized & original Australian Returned from Active Service Badge for First World War service.

Bronze, die struck badge, measuring 28mm x 38mm. Numbered to reverse 255312, with loops & affixing pins to rear.

The badges was originally awarded to 6970 Private Jack Boddy, 16th Battalion, who lived East Perth. NAA Series MT1384/2, Book 149, page 9.

The purpose of the Returned from Active Service Badge (RASB) is to recognise Australian Defence Force members who have returned from active or warlike service during military campaigns in operational areas.
