Offered is a WW1 & WW2 Royal Engineer group attributed to 10759 Pioneer George Ingram.

British War and Victory Medal impressed named 210759 PNR. G. INGRAM.  R.E.; 1939 Star; France & Germany Star, Defence Medal; War Medal 1939-45; Imperial Service Medal, Queen Elizabeth II, 1953-54, impressed named GEORGE INGRAM. The medal  ribbons are lightly glued into place. All WW2 medals un named as issued.

Included cloth Pioneer trade badge; 2 Royal Engineer brass shoulder titles; 2 Royal Engineer Kings crown (George V) hat badges; cloth ROYAL ENGINEERS shoulder title. Copies of WW1 medal index card and medal roll.

George survived the war to be awarded the Imperial service medal (1953-54). Unfortunately Georges records did not survive the WW2 Blitz.

A nice collection of Royal Engineer badges and medals that will make a cracking good display when mounted in a frame.
