Offered is an post Second World War era Gurkha Badged, British India Kukri & scabbard. Carved horn and brass grip with bright steel inlays, Brass lions head pommel. Very good condition 29.5cm long curved blade with shallow fullers, showing light wear and cleaning marks. Blade surface carries Indian style decorative scroll-works. Scabbard of patterned leather over wood with metal throat band and Gurkha pattern regimental badge. leather loss at throat, small patch to front and stitching coming away to back blade sheaths of which only on burnishing flint blade (skinner is missing). Wooden 2 part sheath is coming apart at the seam join. Untouched Khukri dating from the 60s/ 70s, knife is 40.5cm not including scabbard.
