Description

Offered is an matching numbered 1795, with re-issued dated 1936 WW2 Holler made K98 pattern bayonet with 1940 dated S/241.

Bayonet & scabbard features blued steel fittings, with blued waffen stamp x 2, pommel & working release button, wooden grips and blued guard.The 25.2cm blued steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and manufacture, date and serial stamped ricasso. WW2 1940 issue marked metal scabbard, with manufacturer stamp is a nice fit to the blade. Overall length: 38.8cm long.

We rarely see these re-issued matching bayopnets appear for sale, so this will be a good oppurtunity for the collector to acquire one.
