POST WW2 ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE OFFICER’S UNIFORM SIDE CAP RAAF 1943 DATED

Offered is an original 1943 dated Royal Australian Air Force uniform officer’s side cap. All dark blue cotton body, showing little or now wear or age, without any mothing or damage, with oxidised finished multi piece cap badge, with plastic economy buttons. Good firm shape overall, with interior felt sweatband maker stamped L. ASHTON & SONS 1943 ⩚ (shiny silk interior lining is making it hard to read the maker stamp) showing size 7 1/8. Overall you would have to rate this as a near mint example.
