Offered is an Original British Para 10 Jump Smock. All zips and pockets serviceable, usual light wear, colours excellent. Paratroopers 10th Battalion “X” badge to right & left sleeves with para qualification patch to the right sleeve, small fabric hole near right para X unit patch. Internal MOD tagged “SMOCKS DENISON AIRBOURNE TROOPS, size 2 HEIGHT 5’3″ 5’5 37″ 39″ WINDSMOOR (MACC) Ltd 1963”. Hand written “name” lightly penned to internal surface.

Chest 70cm (baggy) & height 79cm (collar up, not including monkey tail), 48cm inner arm.

10 PARA : The 10th Parachute Battalion was disbanded in November 1945. However, the battalion number was bestowed upon a new London-based Territorial Army unit in 1947: the 10th (City of London) Battalion, The Parachute Regiment. This became the 10th (V) Bn in 1967.
