31mm wide circular silver medal with scroll and laterally-pierced ball suspension; the face with the half length crowned figures in relief of King George V and Queen Mary in state robes, facing left, circumscribed โGEORGE โข V โข AND โข QUEEN โข MARY โข MAY โขVI โข MCMXXXVโ; the reverse with the crowned cipher of King and Emperor George VI, the dates โMAY 1910โ and โMAY 1935โ to left and right respectively; on correct ribbon. The medal was instituted to mark the Silver Jubilee of King George V. It was designed by Sir William Goscombe John, R.A. (1860-1952) and awarded to distinguished persons throughout the Empire. A good example.
