WW2 Germany Luftwaffe officer’s 2nd pattern dagger and scabbard by SMF Solingen with Luftwaffe acceptance 5 stamp. Well cast and hand finished, gilt surface swastika pommel, orange celluloid grip in excellent condition. Aluminium winged guard with Luftwaffe spread wing eagle clasping a swastika. 26cm maker marked blade in fine condition with minor age darkened spots, retaining black leather washer, with inspectors 5″ eagle ‘ambt’ code stamp above the makers logo. Blade fits perfectly into the metal and hand finished scabbard. Complete with silver thread dagger knot.
