VINTAGE WW2 GERMAN LUFTSCHUTZ M1940 SINGLE DECAL UNIFORM HELMET WITH CHIN STRAP

Offered is an original Model 1940 'beaded' German Luftschutz steel helmet, with single decal, leather liner & chinstrap.

Very good steel shell, sized 62, retaining most of the original dark blue paint finish, with some scratches & wear to crown (no dents showing), showing a single decal, 85% present, to front. Beaded rim to centre, as is standard with these rear eschelon used pieces.

No movement to the 3 split pins, with the interior showing the exact paint scheme as shown on the outside, with markings for the factory number 1013, with the factory stamp showing EF62 (Emaillierwerke A.G., Fulda). The heavy brown card stock liner band is present, with a very good conditional thin chamois type leather liner & untied liner string. The liner does show some service rubbing & wear, but solid and very presentable. The helmet is completed with the original pebbled leather chinstrap and firmly secured to the black enamelled metal buckles.

Overall, a very good condition helmet, in very good condition, retaining all original parts and single decal.
