WW2 GERMAN ARMY NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER’S SWORD, SCABBARD & KNOT

The sword features a brass backstrap and doves head pommel, with wire wrapped black celluloid grip. The plain langets are in great condition on the 'P' shaped brass guard, with the dark green and silver bullion tied knot. The slightly curved, fullered 83cm long, nickel plated steel blade is in very good condition, with Carl Eickhorn of Solingen trademark to ricasso. The blade fits tightly into the black enamelled service scabbard, retaining its floating suspension ring, generally good overall. Sword measures 100cm overall, being in exceptionally fine condition. These swords rarely come up for sale and in such condition as this are desirable.
