US MILITARY ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEART MEDAL

Original full sized US Purple Heart medal for receiving wounds/death in combat. These were/are generally awarded to soldiers and officers of all three services of the US Defense Force for receiving wounds in combat or as a result of death, which would be sufficient to have the medal awarded. Good original finish, pin backed and officially government issue (Marked G27). Medal comes without any case or award document and is the current type awarded to US service men and women.
