Description

Offered is an original Type D 1960’s era survival combat knife by Wilkinson Sword. The knife features a two piece wooden grip, which retains twins screws & locking nuts, along with the lanyard socket point. The metal guard and 18.5cm long swollen blade, both retaining much of the original dark protective finish. The blade shows much sharpening to edge, with service wear. The Wilkinson Sword mark is clearly visible, as is the model designation 1B/4594 & arrow stamp. The knife is housed in a custom made leather scabbard, looking like it has been made from several different pieces of leather, quite possibly being made overseas/in country. Overall 33 cm long.
