Offered is an original Polish Merit Cross in gold. 42mm wide red enamel and gilt metal Leopold cross with ball-tipped finials, rays between the arms, with loop and decorated ring for ribbon suspension; the face with a white enamel circular central medallion bearing the letters ‘PRL’ (People’s Republic of Poland) within red enamel and gilt rings; the reverse plain; all enamel intact; on original ribbon.
