Offered is a 1939 – 45 Star, Africa Star, Defence & War Medals 1939 – 45, these last 2 medals impressed named WX971 F.A. GALLOWAY. The stars are un named as issued, period swing mounted as worn. Comes with copies service records.

Frederick Arthur Galloway was born on the 5^th June 1914 at Mauchline, Ayr Scotland. He emigrated to Western Australia in June 1922. He was working as a farm hand at the Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra when he enlisted with the 2/11^th Battalion on the 16^th November 1939 at Northam. On 30th November the Battalion moved from Northam to Greta in New South Wales, returning to Western Australia to embarked at Fremantle 20 April 1940 for North Africa.
