Q64 VINTAGE WW2 GERMAN ARMY NAVY OR AIR FORCE M1935 UNIFORM HELMET CHIN STRAP

Offered is an original Model 1935 German steel helmet by Quist of Esslingen, with post war Norwegian Army leather liner & chinstrap.
Very good steel shell, sized 64, retaining the post war Norwegian paint finish, with majority outer paint remains, with some very small scratches & wear and tear commensurate with age and use (no dents showing).
Very slight movement to 2 of the 3 split pins, with the interior showing the exact paint scheme as shown on the outside, with markings for the factory number DN101, with the factory stamp showing Q64 (Quist, Esslingen, sized 64). The aluminium liner band is present, with 90% of the leather liner, showing only light use. The helmet is completed with a leather chinstrap and firmly secured to the aluminium buckles.
Overall, a very good condition helmet, in very good condition, this being the standard Norwegian post war refurbished WW2 German issued helmet, making this an excellent restoration piece to add to your collection.
