US MILITARY DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CROSS ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE 2ND HIGHEST AWARD

Original full sized US Distinguished Service Cross medal for gallantry in combat. These were/are generally awarded to soldiers and officers of all three services of the US Defense Force for extraordinary heroism (in the face of the enemy), which would be sufficient to have the medal awarded. This is the 2nd top award which can be bestowed in the U.S. award system.Good original finish, pin backed and officially government issue (Marked G27). Medal comes without any case or award document and is the current type awarded to US service men and women.
