VINTAGE 1970’S WESTERN AUSTRALIAN POLICE OFFICER’S UNIFORM CAP

1970’s era Western Australia Police Force uniform peaked cap as worn.
White ribbed plastic crown top, the raer underside half being the breathable wicker type material, blue & white checkerboard centreband and two small holes from where the badge has been removed. Black side buttons, plastic chinstrap & patent leather black peak, with a fold mark in centre & with green underside. Interior shows the black plastic wicker frame, no sweatband and a card with ‘6578 ROD WILKINSON’ written. Remains of the inner padding, mostly gone. Needs a good clea, but could scrub up well. Approx. size 57/58.
This item, along with the others I have for sale were issued/used by Sergeant Patrick Vincent Drew, who died in 2006. Purchased direct from the family.
