WW2 AUSTRALIAN FEMALE AWAS ARMY WOOL JACKET TUNIC DATED 1944 ANZAC AIF

Description

Offered is an original WW2 era AWAS uniform jacket, retaining buttons to centre and both shoulder straps, as well as the two breast pockets. Jacket is the standard war type wool uniform. Solid shape overall, with some scattered mothing, as shown in photos. 1944 dated tailor tag to interior, rear neck area.
Measures 42cm arm inseam and 70cm waist. Height of jacket 71cm.

As with all woollen items, unfortunately the colours don’t always turn out the best in our photos, so please know that this piece has a standard olive colour to the wool, with no fading, even though this may show in some of the photos.
