Offered for is a British War and Victory Medals (1914 – 18), impressed named 6202 PTE. G. SIVES. M.G. Comes with copy M.I.C and medal roll. Note the BWM suspender has been replaced with a non standard fixing pin. George Sives served initially with the Royal Scots Fusiliers with a service number of 20313, when he transferred to the Machine Gun Corps, he was given the new service number 6202. He survived the war to be demobilised 14/12/1918 under Kings Regulations para 392 (XXVA) Surplus to military requirements.
