POST WW2 VIETNAM WAR AUSTRALIAN SLR BAYONET SCABBARD SWORD ARMY FROG L1A1
Offered is a near-mint condition Australian L1A1 S.L.R. bayonet & scabbard, most likely a parade worn example. Bayonet & scabbard features near perfect enamel finished steel fittings, with pommel & working release button, un-marked metal grips and guard. The 20 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade being nicely sharpened to the blade edge. Standard metal scabbard, with likewise near perfect enamel finish. Overall length: 33cm long. A near mint example, used with the classic L1A1 Self Loading Rifle (S.L.R.), this piece is most likely a parade worn only piece. This would make a great display piece. Came in from a former SASR NCO who saw 22 years in the regiment.
