Offered is an original 1942 dated WW2 Australian Women’s Army service felt sun hat.

Green/brown felt body, showing moth tracking overall, with fastening clips to left side, brown/white/red silk head band, with enamelled white metal rising sun badge to centre. 2 air vents to either side of shaped crown. Leather liner 40%, but could easily be repaired, showing size 7 1/8, 318 and 1942 date stamps.?
