Sergeant Lowrie's?service records are still held by the M.O.D. and have not been released to the public yet. However, viewing his medal entitlement, he certainly saw extensive service ranging from the Atlantic, North Africa and Malaya. The medal entitlement may suggest he was part of RAF Coastal Command, especially given the award of the Atlantic Star.
