WW1 GERMAN ARMY 98-05 BAYONET & SCABBARD

WW1 manufactured Model 98/05 'butcher' bayonet with scabbard. Very good steel furniture overall, showing eagle head pommel, working release button, waffen stamped with correct diagonally grooved wooden grips. Swelled bayonet blade measuring 36.5cm long, maker stamped SIMSON & Co. SUHL. The bayonet was Prussian issued and dated 1915. Comes with the matching bayonet. All original manufacturers stamps to this classic of the german bayonets.
