Description

Offered is an original WW2 era Australian Army wool uniform service jacket. Olive coloured wool jacket, showing some light wear as shown, very good overall, with oxidized brass buttons, rising sun collar badges, Australia titles & major’s crown (economy type). No top button has ever been present, maybe as a result of this being an officer worn jacket, so worn with a shirt & tie. 2/6th cavalry (commando) regiment patches to both upper arms, showing a couple of moth nips, mainly to grey base. 1945 dated & tailor tagged. Measures 79cm long, arm inseam 50cm & shoulder width 41cm. Worn, used, as shown with all details clearly shown in photos.
