Offered is a 1939 – 45 Star, Africa Star, Italy Star, France & Germany Star, Defence & War Medals (1939 -45) all un named as issued, British General Service Medal (1918 -62), impressed named 22787256 SGT J.N. MACKAY. INT CORPS, being swing mounted as worn.

Due to British WW2 campaign medals being unnamed, it makes it virtually impossible to research British WW2 servicemen. However, occasionally named medals are located within the group as in this case. Sergeant MacKay clearly saw a lot of service in various theatres with his unusual combination of campaign stars including the jungles of Malaya post war. A most intriguing medal group to a member of the Intelligence Corps.
