Offered is a mint condition 1960’s era issued Australian L1A1 S.L.R. bayonet & scabbard.

Bayonet & scabbard features perfect black enamel finished steel fittings, with pommel & working release button, un-marked metal grips and guard. The 20 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade being nicely factory sharpened to blade edge, with sharp spear point. Standard metal scabbard, with black enamel finish. Overall length: 32cm long. A mint condition example, famously used with the classic L1A1 Self Loading Rifle (S.L.R.).
