WW1 manufactured Model 98/05 ‘butcher’ bayonet with scabbard. Very good steel furniture overall, well polished from Police use, with correct diagonally grooved wooden grips and swelled bayonet blade. Comes with the matching bayonet, showing Bavarian Police re-issue stamps. All original manufacturers stamps and dates had been removed as per regulations for re-issue during the 1920’s. Rare re-issue piece.
