Boer War / WW1 – British Army Brass Binoculars –  French Made MG. Mark V Special On offer as a very well made pair of brass binoculars, manufactured in France for the British military, during the Boer War / WW1 period. They carry what is understood to be the maker’s initials of ‘MG’ as well as the Broad Arrow marking. They are also marked ‘Mark V Special 26994’. These binoculars still have great optics after more than 100 years, none of the lenses are cracked.
