For sale is a G.V.R. Territorial Efficiency Medal with TERRITORIAL suspension bar, impressed named 5999328 DRMR J.J. WARDLE. 13- LOND. R. This comes with extracts medal rolls.

J J Wardle was awarded the medal in 1935 whilst serving with the 13th Battalion London Regiment (Princess Louise’s Kensingtons). As the medal was awarded for 12 years Wardle would have enlisted about 1923.

He was awarded his 1st clasp to this medal in 1943, whilst still serving with the Middlesex Regiment and in 1954 he was awarded his 2nd clasp.

In 1937, on the break-up of the London Regiment, its 13th Battalion was re-designated the Princess Louise’s Kensington Regiment, The Middlesex Regiment (Duke of Cambridge’s Own).
