Description

Pre WW1 United States of American Army Krag-Jorgensen bayonet with cavalry scabbard. 

Steel pommel with working release button, good dark brown wooden grips and muzzle ring metal guard. A 30cm steel blade in fine condition, showing US & 1899 date stamp to ricasso. Leather cavalry scabbard retains the fastening strap and round brass equipment ring. Overall the bayonet is in very good condition, with the rarely seen cavalry scabbard.
