FRANCIS. A.S.C.

Medals come with London Gazette entry, dated 20th August 1919, showing Francis was awarded the M.M. for gallant service in Mesopotamia, serving with the 954th Company (Bedford) Royal Army Service Corps. Also comes with a copy of his post war reference, stating he was an experienced heavy goods driver who had shown many instances of gallantry during the war.
