For sale is a New Zealand War Medal reverse dated 1861 – 1866, it has been officially period renamed Pte ALFRED ELVERY. C.T. CORPS.  It is believed that Elvery was a local enlistment for the campaign, with it being common for these local troops to be issued returned medals for official re engraving.
