Henry Parker was born on 1/5/1889, in Berkshire, England. A Baker by trade he emigrated to Toronto Canada pre-war.

He enlisted in Toronto into the 210st Battalion on 6/3/1916. He was transfer to 170 Batt on 30/9/1916 and sailed from Canada for England on 25/10/1916. Transferred to the 1st Canadian Infantry Works Company to serve with them in France from 3/11/1917. He survived the war to be discharged on 14/3/1919.
