BRITISH ARMY ROYAL SCOTS GREYS FANTASY MEDAL DSC/COLLAR BADGE COMBINATION

Description

Offered is a Distinguished Service Cross with a Royal Scots Greys collar badge affixed to the obverse all in white metal.

The DSC is “awarded in recognition of an act or acts of exemplary gallantry during active operations against the enemy at sea”. As to why this medal was manufactured is unknown, possibly a regimental story known only to a few. It would appear to be too well made to be a film prop.
