Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union black parade dress uniform with the jacket, trousers, belt, hat and tie. Black wool uniform jacket, with sewn-in Admiral of the Fleet bullion woven shoulder boards, bullion anchor collar tabs and rank tapes for Admiral of the Fleet. Retains large row of medal ribbons, including Order of the October Revolution, Patriotic War 2nd Class, Red Banner of Labour as well as a number of WW2 service medals and Soviet Republic awards. Gilt senior naval officer’s buttons to front and cuffs. Silk lined. Shoulder width 40cm & Arm Inseam 40cm. Shirt & tie included. Comes with parade dress belt with two-piece buckle having anchor and emblem of the Soviet Union; dagger hangers and buckles. Matching pants with button fly has a waist of 90cm and Leg Inseam of 72cm. The senior Admiral’s black wool cap features a black leather peak, with gilt leaves decoration, as well as bullion leaves to centre band, with central naval cap badge. Retains chin strap, leather sweatband and marked size 57. A very scarce complete uniform, dating from given the fact that only 3 people held this most senior rank during the entire history of the Soviet Union. Very rare.
