Army Major General of the Soviet Union Parade Dress Uniform, with pants & cap. Circa. 1970 dark green cotton jacket, with gold 1-star general shoulder boards & general’s red piped collar tabs. Gilt general’s buttons to front and cuffs, with gold bullion rank leaves. Retains the following original awards: Order of the Red Star; No. 1789947, issued circa 1945, Order of the Patriotic War (Type 3), 2nd Class; No. 5687334, Guards Regiment Badge & Graduation Badge of the Military Academy. Silk lined. Shoulder width 51cm & Arm Inseam 44cm. Shirt & tie included. Matching dark green, red general’s piped cavalry style breeches have a waist of 96cm and Leg Inseam of 76cm. Green wool parade cap features black leather peak, with gilt leaves decoration, as well as bullion leaves to centre band, with central army cap badge. Retains embroidered chin strap, leather sweatband and marked size 58.
